Paramedic Service Begins in Yutan in 2004!

Due to the hard work and dedication of the members of the department, the Yutan Vol. Fire Dept. recently became licensed to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) at the Paramedic level in the State of Nebraska.

What this means is better service to the public.  The benefits to the citizens of Yutan include the following:

  • Highly trained Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedics (EMT-P).

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), life-saving medicines and procedures upon arrival at your door.

  • Intravenous (IV) therapy.

  • Advanced airway maintenance.

  • Intervention drugs for emergencies such as diabetic reactions, allergic reactions, asthma attacks, hypertension, heart attacks, etc.

It is our goal to bring the best care to the public in Yutan and surrounding areas.
