The Yutan Volunteer Fire Department

YVFD is an all volunteer fire department established in 1922, to provide fire protection and fire prevention service to prevent the loss of property and life for the citizens of Yutan Nebraska and the surrounding rural areas.

YVFD’s Emergency Medical Services

YVFD's EMS service was started in late 2004,offering both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and (BLS) Basic Life Support ambulance services, striving to provide the highest quality in pre-hospital care.

YVFD’s Emergency Response Dive Team

YVFD’s ERDT staff provides emergency water rescue and recovery service for the nearby Platte River and surrounding lakes in Saunders, Douglass, Sarpy, Cass and Washington counties.
